*Common Terminology
Your insurance may ask for a practitioner number, tax ID, or treatment codes to process your claim.  All of these bits of information are included on our invoice and you simply fill them in.
  • NPI= National Provider Identifier (practitioner ID)
  • EIN= Employer Identification Number (tax ID)
  • ​CPT code= 5 digit code for a treatment (ex 97110 is therapeutic exercise)
  • ICD-10 code= diagnosis code (ex. scoliosis unspecified M41.9)
  • Unit= Health care services are typically billed by unit. A unit is defined as 15 minutes worth of service. If you were treated for 60 minutes you will likely enter 4 units for that session. (Ex:  in a session you may have been charged 2 units of 97110 and 2 units of 97112. Evaluations are not time based. You will enter 1 for the evaluation code 97161 no matter how long the assessment was.) 
  • Cost per unit= the amount charge for each unit of a certain CPT code

Reimburisfy does not let you enter multiple units. If you have 2 marked for a CPT code just enter the dollar value of 2 units (ex: if one unit is 40$ you would enter 80$ if 2 units were charged of that code)​
Make sure your insurance knows that payments should be made DIRECTLY TO THE CLIENT per your plan's policies.
